Intech Brinechem Limited (IBL) was founded in November 2021 as part of a backward integration strategy for Intech Organics Limited. IBL is currently in the process of setting up a 14,000 MTPA Bromine manufacturing plant in the Great Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. When operational, this facility will help meet the high demand for Bromine – both for in-house requirements and for the external market.
This project supports the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and will contribute significantly to the country’s exports. Bromine is a key raw material used in Intech Organics’ flagship offering, Methyl Bromide, as well as other oil-based chemical products such as Calcium Bromide and Sodium Bromide, and Bromine-based flame retardants.

Intech Organics Limited entered into a strategic agreement with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in 2022 to manufacture bromine derivatives in the UAE. The new entity, Intech Organics DMCC will serve as the forward integration arm of Intech Organics Limited and will focus on manufacturing oil-based chemical products such as Calcium Bromide and Sodium Bromide, and flame retardants in this region.
